SHORT-TERM RESULTS OF ENDOVASCULAR TREATMENT FOR OBLITERATING ATHEROSCLEROSIS OF THE LOWER EXTREMITIES ARTERIES IN PATIENTS OVER 70 YEARS OF AGE

Objectives. To analyze short-term results of endovascular treatment for obliterating atherosclerosis the lower extremities arteries in patients over 70 years age. Material and methods. From 2015 to 2019, 75 limbs were revascularized 72 patients. Their mean age was 74.7±4.51 years. There 67 (93%) with ischemia 3rd - 4th degree according Fontaine-Pokrovsky classification. Revascularization iliac segment performed 35 (48.6%) patients, iliofemoral 5 (7%), femoral-popliteal 24 (33.4%), tibial 8 (11%) Results. Technical success attained 97.2% cases. The limb preservation achieved 100% Thrombosis artery developed 2 (2.7%) cases (it repaired endovascularly). Two (2.77%) died acute cardiac failure. Conclusions.
